Bahrain is moving ahead with a major solar power development in its southern region, forming part of its long-term clean energy strategy. The 150MW facility will generate enough electricity to power thousands of homes while significantly cutting annual carbon emissions. Once complete, it will strengthen the national grid, support climate targets, and set a benchmark for future large-scale renewable projects in the Kingdom.
